The Pastoral Care Ministry makes sure no CBC member faces illness, loss, crisis, or grief alone. When the hard things come, and they always come, this team shows up. Not with answers. With presence, prayer, and the love of Christ made tangible.

💡 Rationale

A church that only exists on Sunday mornings isn't really a church, it's a weekly event. The Pastoral Care Ministry is what makes CBC a church that people can call at 2 AM. Because that's what the body of Christ does.

🌐 Vision

Every CBC member facing a hospital stay, a family crisis, or a season of grief should receive a visit, a prayer, and a meal, within 48 hours. That's the standard. That's the vision.

Hospital & Home Visitation

As needed / ongoing

Pastoral visits to CBC members who are hospitalized, homebound, or recovering from illness, bringing prayer, Scripture, and the presence of the church.

Bereavement Support

As needed

Accompaniment and pastoral care for families who have lost loved ones, from the first call through the funeral and beyond.

Crisis Response

As needed / urgent

Rapid pastoral response to family crisis, financial emergency, or emotional breakdown, CBC shows up within 48 hours, no exceptions.

Prayer Team Coordination

Ongoing

Coordinate with the Prayer Ministry to ensure every care need is covered by specific, named intercessors, not just general prayer.

Counseling Coordination

As needed

Refer members with complex pastoral needs to the Counseling Department, ensuring care is never dropped between ministry teams.

Fill out a connection card

Just your name and number so we can add you to the group chat and make sure you're connected.

Get plugged into a discipleship group

After a few visits, Eld. Romeo Dumlao will introduce you to a small accountability group. That's where the real growth happens.

Serve and lead

When you're ready, take on a role. Help lead, mentor others, or start your own group. Every member is a minister.
