The Sports and Recreation Ministry uses athletic activity as a bridge — drawing people into community, building friendships that lead to discipleship conversations, and giving the CBC family a space to enjoy God's gift of physical health and recreation together.
Some people won't come to a Bible study but they'll come to a basketball game. Sports and Recreation is CBC's low-barrier entry point — where relationships begin that God then uses for something much greater. And for existing members, it's how we stay connected outside of Sunday.
A CBC member who plays sports with their church family knows their teammates better than their pews — and those deeper relationships become the soil where real discipleship grows.
Bro. Ronald leads Sports and Recreation with the understanding that community happens most naturally when people are doing something together — not just sitting in rows. He coordinates sporting events, leagues, and recreational activities that bring the CBC family together in joy.
