The Assimilation Ministry exists to make sure no one who walks through CBC's doors stays a stranger. We walk with new attendees, new believers, and transferees through their first steps — from visitor to member, from outsider to family.
Coming to church for the first time is awkward. The second time is uncertain. The third time — if no one noticed you — might be the last. Assimilation is how CBC closes that gap. We are Step 2 in the CBC 7-Step Discipleship Process: after Assessment, before Affirmation.
Within 3 months of their first visit, every new CBC attendee should have a name, a face they know, a group they belong to, and a next step in their discipleship journey. No one falls through the cracks.
Sis. Jiselle heads CBC's assimilation process — the critical bridge between 'first-time visitor' and 'fully connected member.' She knows that belonging takes more than a name tag, and her team follows up personally with every new face at CBC.
